- I Would Describe Myself As I recentley moved to the the DFW area to be closer to my dear father who was ill with Parkinsons disease. I lived in Austin with my beautiful daughter after divorcing in 2003. I made the decision to leave Austin and to be closer to my father, although it was the hardest decision I've ever made. My daughter being 14years old (and at that age), cryed for days upon learning that we were moving.So I made the decision to leave her with her father in Austin...again, being the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Unfortunatly only 6 months after moving here my hero(my father), passed away. Although I was only able to be with him for a short time, I do not regret my decision. So now, here I am, in this area without my father, without my daughter and I know very few people.. I work all the time, so I'm not able to get out much to meet new people.
