We are all basically looking for the same thing in a relationship-unfailing love. We all want someone to give us love, and someone with whom we can share our love, without sacrificing our values and principles. We need to take everything we do very seriously(including selecting a mate)and not be willing to settle for anyone who is not worthy of being in our lives, because every decision we make-good and bad-affects our lives, the lives of one another, and most importantly, the lives of our children, our future.

Most if not all the strife and setbacks that have come my way have been a result of my disobedience, my going against God's will for my life, and my yoking myself together with folks who were not worthy of being a part of my life.
In order for us to be a suitable helpmate for someone else, we should first make sure that we are a full, whole, and complete person ourselves. We should be able to see ourselves as a cake-having all the ingredients necessary to make us firm and sweet. We should be looked upon as the icing on our cake-simply adding more flavor and sweetness to our already whole and complete lives.
