Je me décrirais comme I am a junior at the University of Evansville and my majors are Secondary Education and French Studies. I am also studying Japanese and English as a Second/Foreign Language. You could say that I love languages! I am originally from Boulder, Colorado, and my active lifestyle there has spread into my life at UE; I am fairly involved on campus, especially when it comes to my faith! I am a member of not only Newman Club, but also Student Christian Fellowship and InterVarsity, and if I had more time, I'd be involved with Young Life, too. Apart from religious organizations, I'm a regular member of French and Japanese Clubs, and International Student Club, as well. I am also part of the Global Living and Learning Community. I play the violin and am involved in the University of Evansville Symphony Orchestra, and I'm thinking of joining the Women's Choir this coming spring.

I have a fair amount of hobbies--I enjoy drawing, painting, writing, reading, photography, hiking, skiing, gardening, cooking, and traveling. Traveling is certainly one of my passions. This past spring I studied in England, and in the fall I'll be studying in France. Someday I want to have visited all 50 States, and several other countries!

But apart from all of my activities and interests, I always have time for family and friends. My parents are divorced and I live with my mom in Lexington, Kentucky. My dad is currently residing in Kyrgyzstan with the Peace Corps. I also have a younger sister who also attends UE. My family has three cats and two dogs, and sometimes they really seem like siblings!

One of my favorite things to do, is to just hang out with my friends, whether it's watching a movie or hitting the mall or just lounging in the dorm basement!

Un premier rendez-vous idéal, ce serait Honestly, I'm up to pretty much anything. Actually, I think the best first date would just be to do whatever we feel like doing that evening. Could be seeing a movie and having dinner, or just meeting for coffee. I'm an easygoing girl!

Mon but dans la vie c'est Well, to start off, I'm in school to become a language teacher, and one of my goals with that is to teach abroad at some point.

Honestly, my biggest goal in life, apart from being a good teacher, is to be a mother. I have a strong desire to have a family, and it's certainly something that won't be shaken off easily. In fact, I'm also keen on the idea of adopting. I want to have my own children, of course, but the opportunity to give a child a better life is something I can't ignore.

Mon idée du fun As long as I'm with friends of family, I'm set! I do, however, rather enjoy hiking/walking, going to movies, and dancing. I like being active and out-of-doors!

Que recherchez-vous? I am looking for someone with a kind heart, who is certain of who he is and what he wants from life. Someone who is not afraid to be themselves, even on the first meeting. I enjoy traveling, so it would be a big plus if he enjoyed traveling as well. Right now, I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to be friends first.
