I did not think this chapter in life would find me here, but God has a way of taking us through unexpected places in order to show us unexpected characteristics of Himself...and ourselves. It is a time of bittersweet, but in retrospect, much of my life has been... good and bad intertwined, bringing about the complex paradoxes of the Christian life.
I just finished building a house for me and mom and it seems to be perfect for us. As her health declines, it gives me peace of mind to be so close at hand when she needs me. All three kids are grown, with careers of their own. Two grandsons who are growing like weeds... So proud of all of them.
I teach Special Education at Southmoore High School and love it! I'm also an independent stylist for cabi, a clothing line by Carol Anderson. It allows me to educate women about fashion and style and give them the tools and skills they need to be confident in who they are in themselves. I love that.
