I am a writer/artist, retired from teaching/counseling. I have been employed by public schools and taught at 4 universities. I love taking classes or just reading and learning. I have published one book myself and co-wrote another that was published.
My son and his wife are at UND and my daughter is in HS. Both graduate in 2013. My son and daughter-in-law will make me a grandmother for the first time in August, 2012.
My family has a dry sense of humor. I was brought up with parents who showed alot of physical affection and this was passed on it me. I enjoy PDA and am looking for a companion who does the same.
I enjoy museums, art shows, out of the way shops and drives. I am also a gardener, like boating, traveling, movies, reading, quiet times and fun.

An Ideal First Date Would Be First date would be a coffee shop or lunch. We'd see how the sparks fly then. Second date would dinner, dancing or something where we could talk. I like movies but you don't get to know each other at one; they're great for snuggling in together and holding hands.

I've Always Wanted To Try Golfing, deep sea fishing, traveling to places like India or Bali. When I am with the right person, I am willing to try alot more than I will alone.
I would like to go to school to be a chef, maybe at Napa Valley. A weekend workshop with famous authors and artists would be right up there.
