She sees others on a journey one with the other And knows a journey of her own waits but alone no more. She feels content, hopeful and yet yearning, longing
Secure with the familiarity of her surroundings,
The warmth, the gentle breeze and the salty fragrance of the air She waits with a patience never experienced before; a patience that longs to be rewarded.She senses his presence in the air, his sight on the same stars in the sky
And at this moment, although many times before in this same place She waits happily, heart racing and with a knowing feeling, That he will come along and take her hand in his And share the remainder of the journey She waits for this one man, waits for his gentle eyes and radiant smile
