I Would Describe Myself As I once heard that if you are over 40 yrs old & you find yourself dating again, remember that "dating is not easy", in fact, it just might be harder than it was when your were 18 yrs. old.
I was born and raised in San Bernardino, CA. I have one sister that lives in Colorado, and my parents have lived in the same house for 57 years. My father retired from the SB Police Dept. after a 32 year career. I have a daughter that is 23 and son that is 20, both in Colorado, and my daughter has a 3 yr old little girl, who is the light of my life.
I am honest, caring, giving, and loving. I am not into any games, or drama. Been there, did that, got the t-shirt. I believe that in order for any type of relationship to work, there must be trust, honesty, communication, respect, and love.
I am not a materialistic person, and never have been. As long as I am happy, and have that special man in my life, I could live in a shack as long as we were together. Men should be pampered,& given TLC, just as the women. No relationship is ever 50% / 50% on both sides. There may be days when one is just having a difficult time, and can only give 20%, in that case the other would pick up the extra 30% and deal with it for the day.
There is love and there is being "in love". "in love" is like no other feeling, when you truly know that you would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING every second of your life for that person, you are "in love". I want that school girl crush, and cuddling on the couch, cooking dinner together and making a picnic on the living room floor, dressing up and a night of dinner, drinks, dancing, out on the town.
