Ik beschrijf mezelf als: If in order to get something you must lie, cheat, or cause harm to another... It's just not worth it. I am a man that realizes that we all can and do make mistakes. Behind the mistakes there is a cause. Is the root of that cause found in honorable intent or in selfish motives? And, alas, will we walk away with something positive or simply attempt to improve our level of deception. Wrong is wrong, and I do my best to not do wrong. I ask no more of you. thus I am clear to enjoy this life, its mysteries and wonders to the utmost.
To the table I bring intelligence, warmth, humor, strength, tenderness, smiles, and optimism. I equally enjoy crowds, solitude, and quiet intimacy. I enjoy trying the things I have never done before. I enjoy sharing things I have done and found fascinating with someone who yet to try them.
On the other extreme, home is my place of comfort. A place to feel compelled to do absolutely nothing. No "airs" to be put on, no clock to watch, no one to be impressed. If you have been invited in, feel at ease for you are free to be who you are. If you haven't been invited, its of no consequence because you are not there.
I'm harsh because people often do not appreciate the truth, and I can distinguish between fact, and opinion.
People have mistaken my niceness for being soft or naive, I assure you I am not. If you wish to hang yourself I will hand you sufficient rope. If you succeed, I may forgive you, but I will not let you back in, I will simply wish you well.
I have always been an observer. I truly do learn from the successes and mistakes of others. I freely share my insights and modify my thoughts to assimilate new knowledge. I know enough to know that I truly know very little but I have tremendous confidence in my best judgment.
