  • Me describiría a mi mismo como I am a very honest (to a fault) and straight forward woman with a strong work ethic. I believe you can't build a good relationship without first having a solid friendship as your foundation. I have a warped & off-color sense of humor, and would like the same in a mate. I normally wear my hair long, but chemo destroyed that! I am a breast cancer survivor...I felt the need to state that up front in case you are freaked out or scared off by that. I am an animal lover, volunteer at a local no-kill shelter and would prefer a man who doesn't like to hunt. I'm not a vegetarian, however I eat very little meat. I'm not a Christian, I would describe myself as more agnostic leaning toward the scientific. My political views are middle of the road, but my pet peeves are illegal immigration, over taxation and government over-spending.

    Now for the fun stuff. My taste in music is varied with 2 exceptions: rap & country. I love music and find it very motivating. I used to run 2-3 times per week until I began my treatments. I'm starting to get the itch again and intend on starting my running very soon. My partner doesn't need to work out, but I want to spend time with someone who takes care of himself and doesn't let himself go. I try to stay in shape to look good and I expect the same. You will usually find me in jeans & t-shirts or tank tops when I'm not at work, but I enjoy getting dressed up for a night out as well. My hobbies are SCUBA diving, hiking (or rather, exploring the outdoor wilderness at an easy, steady pace), painting, traveling, going to comedy clubs and trying new foods.
